Jairek Robbins was born in Santa Monica, California. Start Living with Purpose!!

In our modern day society, it’s very easy to get stuck in a rut and feel like you’re life is just a long series of mundane days, weeks, months, and years. If you’re life has no purpose, then you may be feeling destitute, depressed, and bored. That’s exactly how I was feeling before I got my hands on a copy of this book. This isn’t your normal self-help book that tells you what you need to do and then send you on your way. Instead, it provides exercises, quizzes, and questions that challenge you to take control of your life and discover how you want to create purpose for yourself. The book is filled with research, anecdotes, lessons, and hands-on material that will practically force you to start making changes to your life immediately.

27 Quick Life Transformation Tips: Simple & Effective Methods For Making This Your Best Year Ever is another book with a similar premise. I have used its insights just as much as I’ve used Jairek Robbins’. It’s a terrific book with a short and simple idea: you can change your life using quick guides that almost anyone can follow. If you don’t think it’s possible to transform your life in a short amount of time, then you would be wrong. I was able to transform exercise regimen using precepts in this book. For starters, I was able to exercise more and find the motivation to do what I needed to do. But, it all starts with following the principles and the guidelines set out in each tip. I am grateful that I came across this little book because it has helped me immensely in my daily life.

Obviously, Live It! has also helped me immensely. The exercises, lessons, and insights that you can find in Robbins’ book are outstanding. I have loved applying these lessons to my everyday life and giving myself the necessary jumpstart to provide purpose to my life. Again, I think it’s so easy to get lost in a rut and feel like you have no way to dig yourself out. But, the power to find motivation and purpose is all within yourself. Sometimes you just need a little guidance and I’m glad I found some.

Robbins 2.0 for the new generation - a new radical approach to success and life

Training for the next generation. I love Jairek's fathers work and use many of the strategies daily, BUT this is 2014. What has changed in the world is massive. Not in terms of human building blocks, but in our desires. Personally I don't want a Castle, an Island, Private Jet, another Porsche (yes, I bought my dream car, but it sits mostly in the garage) and the classical symbols of success. The new generations know that we can rent all those things for a day and get the experience. Besides the more moving parts in a chain you have the more complex it becomes and the less time you have to spend on the things in life that are truly important.

There are so many aspects of this book I agree with and that I also mentioned in my book `Never Work Again' that it was a pleasure reading Jaireks view.These are;
- Create your ideal day and live it
- Memento Mori - remember that one day you will die. Death creates clarity and makes you face what you really should be doing with your life.
- It's the simple things that we really deep down want in life, but we get distracted and stir around in the dirt instead of getting clear and moving and doing these things on a daily basis.

That being said there is so much more in this book that you really need to take action on yourself.
- One of the BIG lessons for me and which really stuck the sword of truth in me was the need to "fall in love with hard work". Most of my life I have been striving to find the fastest and easiest way to success, but that only makes me happy for a little time.
- Focusing on the Majors is also a great chapter. If you add focusing on majors with small daily habits you will get them!
- Raising standards...

There are lots of empowering exercises in the book.
It's well written and engaging

I could go on and on here...I suggest buy it, listen to it or similar :)

Must read for anyone looking to live a life on purpose and a great gift for those you love

Someone I respect recommended I order a copy of Jairek Robbins' book : Live It!. I had four books on my nightstand already, but something about the title "Achieve Success by Living with Purpose" resonated with me and so I pulled back the cover. Wow. I wanted to read through the whole book at once because the information was so relevant and inspiring. What is brilliant about this book however, is that it is almost like a workbook and the chapters have little challenges for you to actually put the teachings into practice. You are invited and encouraged to reflect and then take action. Just the exercise of imagining and writing down what your "Ideal Day " is like makes this book mandatory for anyone really looking to take their life to the next level and off automatic. The book flows - personal stories as well as those of others interspersed with lessons and exercises. I am actually in a book club and I must say it is a wonderful way to experience the book. I've already sent 2 copies out to friends of mine as a way to say thank you. Highly recommend.
